MMCDC purchased Community Development Bank (the former Ogema State Bank) in 2001 and quickly expanded its products, staff and facility. MMCDC then acquired the assets of a failed financial institution in Hancock and constructed a new 2,700-square-foot bank building on the community’s main street.
