Two multi-purpose facilities in Northern Minnesota are helping to meet the physical fitness needs of community residents of all ages. Crookston’s new arena accommodates figure skating and ice hockey while also providing a walking track for general use. In Duluth, the sports center includes ice arenas and Boys and Girls Club space. Both facilities include convertible space for indoor soccer, volleyball, softball, tennis and more.

MMCDC provided a combined total of $19 million in low-cost loan funds for these projects.
