When Deb Wimmer bought a townhome with her husband, Mitch, she never dreamed of managing the homeowners association. But other residents in the 55-plus community were not interested, and she was supported by a reliable nonprofit that provided lawn care, snow removal, and more.

Just three months after she became the North Shore Townhomes Association President, the nonprofit said it would not renew the service contract. “I was scared to death,” Wimmer remembered.

In 2024, MMCDC began providing a full suite of property management services for the 16-unit association, from paying invoices and reconciling bank statements to supporting board and tenant meetings, maintaining a list of interested buyers, conducting maintenance, and fielding calls from homeowners. Wimmer said it gives her peace of mind to know a reliable nonprofit is again serving the association.
