Jim Dagg

Bio

Jim Dagg was first elected to MMCDC’s Board in 2017 to serve Pennington County. He was the owner and operator of the Jim Dagg Insurance Agency in Thief River Falls and the Ken Nelson Insurance Agency in Warren; he worked in the insurance business for over thirty years. He obtained his associate degree in business management at the University of Minnesota Crookston. Jim is a former Mayor of Thief River Falls and is very much involved in his community. He is part of several organizations, among them: TRF Rotary Club, TRF Chamber of Commerce, and Advance Thief River, Lake of the Woods Water Sustainability Foundation, and Pennington County Housing Authority. Jim and his wife, Tamar, have three children; they enjoy spending time together fishing, golfing, hiking, hunting, boating, traveling, and snowmobiling.
