Lisa Weber

Bio

Lisa Weber represents Becker County and joined the MMCDC Board in 2021. She has over thirty years of experience working in education, most recently as superintendent of the Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School District. Lisa earned a M.S. in secondary school counseling after graduating with a B.S. in elementary education. She is a member of many professional groups, including the American Association of School Administrators, the Minnesota School Board Association, the National Indian Impacted Schools Association, the Minnesota Rural Education Association, the Rotarian International Club, and the Dream Catcher Community. Lisa is committed to helping individuals, groups, and communities learn and grow by providing support, leadership, and hard work. She enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors biking, hiking, snowshoeing, dancing, playing bocce ball, and engaging in water activities. Lisa and her husband of 38 years have two children and three grandchildren; she hopes to bring them the same joy they bring to her.
