Mark Finstad

Bio

Mark Finstad joined MMCDC’s Board to serve Polk County in 2023. A 1982 graduate of NDSU in agricultural economics, he has worked for more than 40 years as a community banker, most recently at Ultima Bank Minnesota. He’s a senior advisor and member of the bank’s Board. Mark has been active in the Fosston Rotary Club, Northwest MN Multi-County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, Fosston Economic Development Authority, First Care Medical Services Foundation, and multiple other boards. He aims to contribute to his community, county, state and country through board service in economic development, higher education, and healthcare. Mark is married and has two children and three grandchildren. His hobbies include swimming, hiking, and travel.
