Bio
Scott oversees budgeting, compliance and forecasting as well as the annual audit and tax activities, and compliance with GAAP and other government and funder regulations. He also oversees insurance activities to protect the company against loss. These activities include overseeing the company’s general business office activities for MMCDC’s Native CDFI subsidiary and for the small, rural housing entities in which MMCDC is not the sole owner.
Experience
Scott joined MMCDC in December 2021 with 42 years of accounting and related experience in for-profit, health care, nonprofit and tribal government settings. He also has worked in tax accounting.
Points of Interest
Scott graduated with an Accounting degree and went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
