Massage therapist Stacy Morris wanted to add wellness opportunities for clients.

But she needed additional space and equipment to grow her business.

By supplementing her own resources with a loan from MMCDC, the business successfully expanded to include salt therapy – a new service for the area.

She credits family and community with supporting her goal. A local nonprofit referred her to MMCDC; her landlord undertook a portion of the physical expansion; and she and a family member provided sweat equity.

She used MMCDC financing and more to add a dry salt therapy room (pictured below). She also added salt float therapy, which uses a mixture of water and Epsom salt in a flotation tank.
