The Neighborhood Development Center is a longtime provider of services throughout the Twin Cities metro, primarily to entrepreneurs of color.

A $2.85 million New Markets Tax Credit loan from MMCDC is supporting construction of its future office and small business incubator at University Avenue and Dale Street in St. Paul.

NDC’s innovative business mentorship model builds a strong network of support and accountability around clients, and has served 5,600 prospective entrepreneurs to date.

The NDC Entrepreneur Training Center will create 17 new jobs in a neighborhood with a 44.5 percent poverty rate and a 15.8 percent unemployment rate. Leased office space will be provided at favorable terms to trained entrepreneurs.
